2. Ergonomics:
a. Designing Objects that help people with their jobs, environment sports, safety or anything that involves people.

a. A system is an organized way to achieve a goal

a. All systems have trade-offs
1. intended outcomes (good)
2. unintended outcomes (bad)
5. Difference between Science Technology
a. Science focuses on the natural world
b Technology focuses on the correct use of tool, making life easier and more fun.
6. Technology also includes inventions and innovations
a. Invention a new product
b. Innovation improving an existing product.

8. The history of technology
a. Agricultural age: Up to the 1700s, People used wooden plows
b. Industrial age: 1700s to 1950s , People had factories and steam engines
c. Information age: 1950s to now, People using computers

1. Made the sharing of information faster and more organized
2. Sharing information has made inventions and innovations happen faster.

9. Current Technologies
a. Digital Electronics

1. Use a binary code- 0 and 1 to program computers
2. Allows us to move a ton of information at one time.
